Outloud is a Hard Rock band from Greece, featuring some well established Greek metal musicians.

In August 2009, the band released its first full length album entitled We'll Rock You To Hell and Back Again under music label Frontiers Records.

CITY - Am Fenster LP 1978 (re-up)






City is a German rock band, formed in East Berlin in 1972, best known for the song "Am Fenster" (At The Window or by the window)[1] from its 1978 debut album.

The band was founded as the City Band Berlin by Fritz Puppel (guitar), Klaus Selmke (drums), Ingo Doering (bass guitar), Klaus Witte (keyboards), Frank Pfeiffer (vocals) and Andreas Pieper (flute). The lineup changed frequently in the band's early years, but stabilized by 1976, with Puppel and Selmke joined by Bulgarian violinist and bassist Georgi Gogow and vocalist-guitarist Toni Krahl. They changed their name to City Rock Band and eventually to simply City.

City toured extensively in East Germany, and was given the opportunity to record an album in 1978. The eponymousCity showcased the band's guitar-driven rock; several songs are parables, such as "Der King vom Prenzlauer Berg" (The King Of Prenzlauer Berg), about a young man who gets into too many fights; and "Meister aller Klassen" (Masters Of All Classes"), about cocky motorcyclists whose desire for speed ends in tragedy.

The band's greatest commercial success, however, was the atypical folk rock-influenced "Am Fenster" (At the Window), which arose from a jam session in the studio when Gogow began to play on his violin. It eventually coalesced into a three-part, 17-minute piece (as well as a four-minute version for radio play). An immediate hit in East Germany, it also became successful in West Germany and was an enormous success in countries such as Greece. Following the song's success, City sold half a million copies.

The Flying Eyes - Flying Eyes






The Flying Eyes are a heavy, psychedelic rock band hailing from Baltimore, USA. Since forming in 2007, they have opened for artists like The Black Keys (SXSW 2009), The Black Angels, Dead Meadow etc.

The band's vocalist, Will Kelly is hauntingly reminiscent of Jim Morrison with his gravelly, boozy vocals and so is the sexual undertone of most of their songs, and occasionally, ends up sounding like Glenn Danzig on the dead end of the night. Searing riffs evoke the late 60s acid-head era and exits in a superb, fuzzed and reverb-heavy sonic atmosphere.

The Flying Eyes also produce a grass-roots music festival called "Farm Fest" in Manchester, Maryland. In November 2009, The Flying Eyes released a compilation of their two EPs, "Bad Blood" and "Winter" under World in Sound Records. In the summer of 2010 they supported the album with a six week European tour, notably sharing the main stage of the Burg Herzberg Festival in Germany with legends Hawkwind and Jeff Beck.

Υπόστασις - Σπουδή στο Ανθρώπινο Συναίσθημα

Μικρό Βιογραφικό
Το Σχήμα "Υπόστασις" ξεκίνησε τα πρώτα του βήματα τα τέλη του 2009 στις Αχαρνές Αττικής, ως project πειραματικής/ατμοσφαιρικής μουσικής απο το Θωμά Μελετέα και το Γιάννη Μητράκο. Με την πάροδο του χρόνου εξελίχθηκε σε ολοκληρωμένη μπάντα με την προσθήκη του Ραφαήλ Μελετέα στα τύμπανα και φλάουτο και του Κωστα Ναστούλη στο μπάσο, αλλάζοντας μουσική κατευθυνση προς  πιο heavy rock μονοπάτια με ελληνόφωνο στίχο, διατηρώντας παράλληλα πειραματική διάθεση. Επειτα απο σειρά ζωντανών εμφανίσεων και ηχογράφηση 2 κομματιών, η μπάντα αποφασίζει να ασχοληθεί  με τη δημιουργία ολοκληρωμένου μουσικού έργου. Ετσι, συντίθεται και ηχογραφήθείται η "Σπουδή στο Ανθρώπινο Συναίσθημα",απο τον Δεκέμβρη του '11 μέχρι το Νοέμβρη του '12 στο υπόγειο  της μπάντας.
Αξίζει να σημειωθεί πως ο μέσος όρος ηλικίας των μελών της μπάντας είναι 18 χρονών.
Ασπαζόμενοι την Do-It-Yourself νοοτροπία στη μουσική, ηχογραφήσαμε το δίσκο όχι σε κάποιο επαγγελματικό studio, αλλα στο υπόγειό μας με κυριολεκτικά μηδαμηνές γνώσεις ηχοληψίας και μίξης με προσωπικό, και πολλές φορές αυτοσχέδιο εξοπλισμό. Αυτό μας έδωσε απόλυτη ελευθερία κινήσεων και άπλετο χρόνο ωστε να πειραματιστούμε προς μια δικιά μας ηχητική ταυτότητα. Στο άμεσο μέλλον υπάρχουν σχέδια για την κυκλοφορία του δίσκου σε φυσική μορφή (CD) περιορισμένων αντίτυπων.

Detroit Rock City (soundtrack)






Detroit Rock City is a 1999 American comedy film directed by Adam Rifkin and written by Carl V. Dupré. It tells of four teenage boys in a KISS cover band who try to see their idols in concert in Detroit in 1978. Comparable to Rock 'n' Roll High School, Dazed and Confused, The Stöned Age, and I Wanna Hold Your Hand, it tells a coming-of-age storythrough a filter of 1970s music and culture in the United States. It ultimately took its title from the Kiss song of the same name.

Κασετίνα - Κασετίνα ΙΙ






Ταξίδι στα μονοπάτια της μνήμης, μέρος 2.

Από πόσα κομμάτια είναι άραγε φτιαγμένος ο καθένας από μας; Τί να είναι αυτό που συμβάλει στον τρόπο με τον οποίο σκεφτόμαστε, επικοινωνούμε, αγαπάμε, μελαγχολούμε; Είναι κάτι που συνέβη όταν ήμασταν πολύ μικροί; Ο πρώτος έλεγχος στο σχολείο, η πρώτη ερωτική απογοήτευση; Ο πρώτος μας δίσκος; Η πρώτη συναυλία; Για δεύτερη φορά, η Κασετίνα μπαίνει στα μονοπάτια της μνήμης και οι τρεις μικροί ήρωές μας αναπλάθουν τα συναισθήματα της εφηβικής τους ηλικίας.

Αυτή τη φορά, η ερωτική διάθεση παραμερίζεται και στο κέντρο τοποθετείται η ανάγκη για ουτοπική ανάπλαση του κόσμου και η κόντρα θέση απέναντι στην εύκολη κοινωνία του θεάματος και της μαλθακής κατανάλωσης. Οι ήρωές μας μπαίνουν στις μνήμες της ελληνικής DIY hardcore/punk σκηνής των αρχών της δεκαετίας του 90, την οποία ως έφηβοι/παιδιά παρακολουθούσαν με περιέργια και εκτίμηση, αλλά και λίγο φόβο και απόσταση. Μνήμες από φεστιβάλ δρόμων και πάρκων, από δίσκους δυσεύρετους, από στίχους ακατανόητους, από πορείες αλληλεγγύης, από καταλήψεις και στέκια.

Πίσω στο 2012 για άλλη μια φορά. Η ιστορία της χώρας και του οικονομικού συστήματος οριακή. Οι στίχοι των συγκροτημάτων αυτών δίνουν αίσθηση προφητικών κειμένων δυστοπίας, κακών οιωνών για το τί θα ακολουθούσε σε μια κοινωνία καταστροφικής κατανάλωσης είκοσι χρόνια αργότερα. Χρησιμοποιώντας αυτό το πολύτιμο υλικό, η Κασετίνα βάζει στο ηχητικό της πλυντήριο στίχους, μουσικές και επιρροές για να ξαναπλησιάσει αυτά τα υπαρξιακά κομμάτια και να τους δώσει νέα ζωή πέρα από την εκάστοτε σκηνή στην οποία ανήκαν.

Επιστροφή στο όνειρο.

Real rock‘n’roll cannot be faked. It is the immortal celebration of prized atavistic values – power and volume, sweat and adrenalin, uncompromising good times and the invigorating squall of past, present and future colliding. Those with the artistry and soul required to make music that stirs the blood will never stop chasing that distant horizon, and so Horisont have both the name and the know-how to blow minds and disperse life’s oppressive clouds. They are real rock’n’roll incarnate: an exhilarating blast of sonic euphoria, custom built to raise spirits and quicken the pulse of any right-thinking rock or metal fan.

Since forming in 2006, this Swedish quintet have steadily established themselves as one of Europe’s premier underground rock bands. Their first two albums – 2009’s Tva Sidor Av Horisonten and 2012’s widely acclaimed Second Assault – made it plain that the band have tapped directly into the heart of heaviness and guitar-wielding derring-do. Now, with their latest masterpiece, the vividly realised Time Warriors, Horisont are raising their game, refining and re-defining themselves and leaving the competition spluttering in the dust.

“We started recording new demos right away when Second Assault was released because we wanted to make sure that we had enough material that every song on the next album basically would work as a single, with no fillers,” explains frontman Axel Söderberg. “It’s most definitely our strongest album so far. We did the songs the way that we wanted them to be done. We had more time to get to know the songs, recording them in both English and Swedish to see what would sound best, so there are a few songs with Swedish lyrics on this one.”

From opener Writing On The Wall’s incendiary storm of 70s rock braggadocio and the proto-metal pulse of Diamonds In Orbit through to the insouciant swagger ‘n’ stroll of Didsdans and the hallucinatory Lizzy-gone-psych strut of the closing All Must Come To An End, Time Warriors is a strangely familiar yet undeniably fresh tornado of authentically lysergic hard rock that once again confirms its creators’ sublime grasp of the art of making ageless music with brains, balls and the fierce fizz of five musicians joining forces in perfect harmony. At times harder and heavier than anything Horisont have produced before, at others infused with a bewitching subtlety in conception and execution, this ten-song tour-de-force is a triumph for substance and songs over superficial style.

“I think that we gotten a heavier sound, some of the songs have a more metal feel to them,” states Axel. “You’ve may have heard traces of metal on the other albums as well but this time it’s definitely more apparent. I really like the fact that none of our albums sound alike but it’s always obvious that it’s a Horisont album. It’s different enough to make it interesting and hopefully it will attract attention from people who weren’t into us before, while always remaining familiar to our fans.”

As the album title implies, Horisont – completed by guitarists Charlie Van Loo and Kristofer Möller, bassist Magnus Delborg and drummer Pontus Jordan – are gleefully obliterating the divide between the wonders of the distant past and the unmistakable allure of the here and now. While some of their supposed peers focus too acutely on replicating the sounds of a bygone era, this band consistently display a magic touch, rendering every last note, riff and melody in majestic technicolour and transcending all notions of nostalgia or retro cool in the process.

“Put the 5 soldiers of Horisont in a time machine 50 years ahead of time and we would still rock the silver socks of any future man, woman or robot,” laughs Axel. “We think of a time warrior as someone who digs really good rock’n’roll and fights all the bad music that’s on the air nowadays by coming to a bad ass show, rocking out and buying real music.”

Armed with their best album to date and a collective desire to spread the gospel of real rock’n’roll around the world, Horisont will now be devoting themselves to hitting the road and taking these exceptional new songs to the people. While the modern rock world continues to be plagued by transient trends and shameless bandwagon-chasers, Sweden’s masters of cosmic clangour are the ten-legged antidote, flying the flag for balls-out musical truth. This fantastic voyage has only just begun…

“After the album release we’ll probably start by touring the north,” Axel concludes. “And then I think it’s time for the rest of Europe’s time warriors to get their fair share of the Horisont cake. We’ll keep on doing our thing and hopefully the fans will stick around to see many more Horisont albums in their record collections!”

Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell (1980)






Black Sabbath are an English rock band, formed in Birmingham in 1968, by guitarist and main songwriter Tony Iommi, bassist and main lyricist Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward. The band have since experienced multiple line-up changes, with guitarist Iommi being the only constant presence in the band through the years. Originally formed in 1968 as a blues rock band, the group soon adopted the Black Sabbath moniker and began incorporating occult themes with horror-inspired lyrics and tuned-down guitars. Despite an association with these two themes, Black Sabbath also composed songs dealing with social instability, political corruption, the dangers of drug abuse and apocalyptic prophecies of the horrors of war.

Osbourne's regular abuse of alcohol and other drugs led to his dismissal from the band in 1979. He was replaced by former Rainbow vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Following two albums with Dio, Black Sabbath endured countless personnel changes in the 1980s and 1990s that included vocalists Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen and Tony Martin, as well as several drummers and bassists. In 1992, Iommi and Butler rejoined Dio and drummer Vinny Appice to recordDehumanizer. The original line-up reunited with Osbourne in 1997 and released a live album Reunion. Black Sabbath's 19th studio album, 13, which features all of the original members but Ward, was released in June 2013.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Eve and other stories 1996





Christmas Eve and Other Stories is the debut album by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.


It was released on October 15, 1996, and is the first album in their "Christmas trilogy", with The Christmas Attic (1998) and The Lost Christmas Eve (2004) coming after it. All three albums, as well as their The Ghosts of Christmas Eve DVD, were featured in the The Christmas Trilogy box set.

The story is about a young man who wanders into a bar on Christmas Eve where he encounters a mysterious old man who tells him a tale about the magical effect of Christmas Day on the human race. The album takes familiar classical pieces and adds to them new songs and arrangements from both classic and progressive rock influences for which the group is known. The album also contains a mix of vocal and instrumental songs. The primary musicians on the album are all members of the progressive metal band Savatage (Paul O'Neill, the producer of the album, is Savatage's longtime producer). Jon Oliva, one of the principal songwriters on the album, is also a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and original vocalist in Savatage. (Oliva is also the voice of Mephistopheles on Beethoven's Last Night.) Cover art created by Edgar Jerins.

As of November 2014, Christmas Eve and Other Stories was the ninth best-selling Christmas/holiday album in the United States during the Nielsen SoundScan era of music sales tracking (1991 – present), with sales of 3,430,000 copies according to SoundScan.

On November 28, 2011, Christmas Eve and Other Stories was certified Triple Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipment of three million copies in the United States.

Savatage - Return To Wacken (2015)





Savatage (/ˈsævətɑːʒ/) is an American heavy metal band founded by the brothers Jon and Criss Oliva in 1978 at Astro Skate in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Savatage has released eleven studio albums, two live albums, four compilations and three EPs. The band experienced major American commercial success with the release of their third studio album, Fight for the Rock (1986), which peaked at number No. 158 on the Billboard 200.[1] Their next four albums — Hall of the Mountain King (1987), Gutter Ballet (1989), Streets: A Rock Opera (1991) and Edge of Thorns (1993) — were also successful but more critically acclaimed than Fight for the Rock.

After Criss' death in 1993, Jon (along with producer Paul O'Neill) decided to continue Savatage in memory of his brother. The band released four more studio albums, and went through several line-up changes before going on hiatus in 2002. During the years, members founded various new bands such as Jon Oliva's Pain, Trans-Siberian Orchestra,Circle II Circle and Doctor Butcher. On August 2, 2014, Savatage announced that they were reuniting for Wacken Open Air in 2015.

Atomic Rooster - Atomic Ro-o-ster 1970







Atomic Roooster is the first album by British rock band Atomic Rooster.

A few weeks after its release, guitarist and vocalist John Du Cann joined and Nick Graham, the original vocalist and bassist, left. Du Cann subsequently overdubbed three of the album's tracks for a projected US release. However, in the event, the album never saw US release and the overdubbed tracks eventually surfaced on a second pressing of the album in the UK (though with no corrections to the album credits), and subsequent CD reissues.

On initial B&C pressings of the LP, tracks 3 and 4 on side 1 and tracks 3 and 4 on side 2 were mistakenly[citation needed]swapped around. This was also reflected on the record's labels, although the correct running order was printed on the outer sleeve

Necromandus - 1973 - Orexis Of Death



Necromandus were an English rock band from Cumberland, United Kingdom. They were formed in 1970 and were discovered by Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath in 1972. After recording one album in 1973, they split up. The album was not released until 1999. In 2007 they were mentioned by Classic Rock magazine as a "lost pioneer" of heavy metal.[2]Author Ian Christe has cited the band as one of the earliest doom metal groups
Orexis of Death is the only album by doom rock band Necromandus. It was recorded in 1973 under the supervision of Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, but was shelved due to Barry Dunnery's departure from the band and wasn't released until 1999. The album was re-released in 2005 under the name Orexis of Death Plus... and included two unreleased bonus tracks. It was also reissued in 2010 in its standard form, but with their Live album included.
